The concept of Cypress has been in existence for a little over a decade. It started with the meticulous design of the company's emblem, The Cyclus, which took years to refine to perfection. It is based on iterations of an equilateral triangle as a fractal curve.

Design is our drive but cinematography and film are our focus. We started making films prior to the realization of the company as early as 1988. With the introduction of digital film and enough money to purchase Mac systems, our interests and abilities continue to expand.

T. Elias Eversole and Ryan Gardner Smith came from the desert communities of Albuquerque and Roswell, New Mexico. We gained enough momentum to relocate to Colorado in 1994. Since then Cypress has grown with the help of collaborators and new crew members of various talents and eccentricities.
